Asian Pear

$30.00

Hosui - juicy and crisp with a complex flavor. Some say a hint of butterscotch. Keeps for around a month. Ripens in mid August.

Korean Giant - also called Olympic. This is a later ripening asian pear and keeps well. They get quite large and have great flavor.

Asian pears make a great back/front yard tree. Low maintenance, precocious, sweet, juicy and crisp. We graft ours onto semi dwarf pear rootstock so plan on them topping out at around 15’, although trees can be kept shorter through pruning if that’s your goal. Self fertile but will fruit heavier with a different pear cultivar nearby. Zone 5a hardy, maybe 4b.

Bare root whips with a height of 2-4’.
