Spotted Bee Balm
(Monarda punctata)
One of our favorite Monarda species. Spotted bee balm has very unique flowers. The leaves and flowers have that same spicy oregano smell and flavor as the other Monarda species. Attracts many bees, butterflies, and hummingbirds. Spotted Bee Balm seed does not require any special treatment and can be planted as soon as chance of frost has passed, or started indoors in a warm environment.
Zone 3 hardy.
Sold as bare root divisions.
